All advertising is subject to Cannabis Health Foundation (the
publisher) approval. The publisher reserves the right to reject
advertising. Advertisers and their agencies assume liability for all
content of advertisements and assume responsibility for any resulting
claims against the publisher.
Prohibited Content.
The publisher does not accept any Advertising or Links of web sites
that contain: indecent, obscene or pornographic material, hate speech,
highly explosive subject matter (as determined by Cannabis Health) The
publisher assumes no responsibility if, for any reason, it becomes
necessary to omit an advertisement.
Advertising Submissions
Camera ready ads must be submitted prior to issue deadline date.
In-house ad designs service is available with prior approval. All
information necessary to produce an in-house ad ie: text, logos,
graphics must be submitted 1 week prior to issue deadline date.
In-house ad designs or changes to any ad design created in-house are
subject to an extra production charge. Failure to submit by deadline
date does not cancel payment requirements as contracted.
Advertising Placement
Ads are placed according to the mechanical production requirements for
each issue. Requests for special positioning of ads in the same issue
will be accepted for a surcharge of 10% of the earned rate for each of
the ads involved, subject to mechanical production requirements.
Payment Terms
First-time advertisers and advertisers outside Canada are required to
provide payment in full at the time the bookings are made. Orders will
be accepted on the condition that material will appear in the next
available issue after receipt of payment.
Credit Terms
On advertising where credit terms are granted by the publisher,
invoices are due and payable within 10 days of Invoice Date. Failure to
comply with credit terms may result in the curtailing or withdrawal of
credit privileges. Failure to receive proofing copies or copies of
Cannabis Health Journal is not recognized by the publisher as a valid
reason for withholding payment. Advertisers and their agencies have
dual liability to Cannabis Health Foundation in the event of nonpayment
for advertising space.
